In der Nacht vom 16.05.2020 brannte der Österreichisch-Somalische Kulturverein völlig aus, die Polizei geht von einem Brandanschlag aus. Gut 2 Monate später, in der Nacht vom 27.07., wurde in derselben Straße ein Brandanschlag auf ein somalisches Lokal verübt, auch dieses brannte aus. Über beide Brände wurde wenig berichtet. Die Betroffenen warten bis heute auf Antworten aus den polizeilichen Ermittlungen. Gemeinsam laden Nachbar*innen und der Österreichisch – Somalische Kulturverein herzlich zu einem Straßenfest ein, um uns kennen zu lernen und ein Zeichen für ein solidarisches Miteinander zu setzten. Es gibt somalisches Essen, Getränke und ein diverses Programm mit Reden, Musik und Kinderbetreuung Wir sammeln Spenden, um den Österreichisch-Somalischen Kulturverein wieder aufzubauen:

In the night of 16.05.2020 the Austrian-Somali Cultural Association was burned down completely. The police believe it was an arson attack. Two months later, in the night of 27.07., a Somali shop in the same street burned down completely in an arson attack as well. There was only little coverage of both fires. Those affected are still waiting for answers from the police investigation. Neighbours and the Austrian-Somali Cultural Association invite you together to a street festival in solidarity with the Association and to get to know each other. There will be Somali food, drinks and a diverse program with speeches, music and games for children. We collect donations to rebuild the Austrian-Somali Cultural Association:
